I wanted to quit breastfeeding about 3-4 days postpartum. It was very painful, my son had issues latching, my milk supply took days to come in. I wanted to give up. I would cry and dread every latch, which ofcourse becomes overwhelming when you have to do it every 2 hrs but your son takes 45 minutes to an hr to feed his first couple of months. I turned to Nalini who had just started her own breastfeeding journey 6 months before me. She immediately was very positive and reassuring me what I was doing was right and the right thing for me. She was very transparent that all experiences are different but she always made a number of suggestions on issues I was having. She would ask what my goals were and would cheer me on when I struggled and when I met certain milestones. I could have not made it to 1 year of breastfeeding without her support. She truly does enjoy learning and teaching and supporting breastfeeding mamas but also tailors her support depending on your goals. I can't recommend her enough.

Nelly was extremely helpful at the beginning of my breastfeeding journey! She helped me figure my pump and all the parts! She gave tips on how to get the most milk. And around 3 months I felt like I had a decrease in my supply she was super supportive and helped me through! My little girl is almost 6 months and still breastfeeding! I’m a first time mom who delivered in the summer of 2020, during the first peak of the pandemic. Since any and all help was virtual, the first few months with my newborn turned out to be incredibly hard for me, both mentally and physically. I was introduced to Nalini through a friend and I couldn’t be more grateful for her support. Breastfeeding as a first time mom in the middle of a pandemic was super hard for me. Nalini supported my son Zayden and I throughout our breast-feeding journey. She was there from the very beginning to offer her support and wisdom during a very tough time as my son and I adapted to each other and began our breast-feeding journey. Nalini was always available no matter when I texted her even in the middle of the night to reply to my messages or answer a phone calls even though she has a young son herself. She always offered multiple solutions to whatever issue I was having and always advocated for the natural route which I loved. She was also very considerate and empathetic to me and my needs. She always was willing to share resources and there was always facts that backed up her support. Especially during the early stages of breast-feeding it's very challenging because you are new to it, Nalini always made me feel comfortable opening up to her and always encouraged me.
